The NBA will start to livestream some of its games for people to enjoy on their virtual reality headsets. Anyone with a VR headset can receive access to the entire season of VR content, or 25 games (excluding games being played in your local area), for $200. The price is obviously out of most people's price range. Yet, it says a lot when NBA expects to make a profit off such a niche market considering the price to produce VR content. Hopefully as VR content gets cheaper to produce we can see this price go down over time.

The footage is provided by NextVR which are known for delivering with high-quality VR footage. The footage will reportedly be in 180 degrees, although some games may be in full 360-degree view. Included within the VR footage will be easy access to the score, stats, time, and even commentary so that you won't have to be looking at the scoreboard the entire time and instead can focus on the game. If you are interested you can read the official release at "nba.com".
